New Opening:

Mutts Canine Cantina: Have a Dog? Mutts opened this Wednesday, June 19th, on Cityplace West Blvd. This restaurant/bar/dog park all-in-one offers a dog-friendly way to meet up with friends, grab a beer, chow down on a burger or (hot)dog, or all of the above. Dogs are allowed on the patio, on a leash, or they can roam around one of two dog parks at Mutts. There are menu items for humans and their lucky dogs, who can feast on a doggie dog, a 100% beef frank, or a doggie dessert, a vanilla custard with peanut butter. Best Little Brewfest in Texas: Saturday, join fellow beer-aficionados at the infield garage of Texas Motor Speedway for a beer festival and tasting from 2 to 7 p.m. This event features over 50 beers made all around Texas, meaning it has the ability to have a big impact on our community. 100% of the proceeds from Best Little Brewfest will go to support two organizations, Alzherimer s Association and Teen Suicide Prevention. For more enjoyment, the event will also have live music, other local vendors, and food. Get your ticket today!

Oak Cliff Jazz Fest and Arts/Crafts Fair: Open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., this event is celebrating its inaugural year. Attendees are invited to listen to live music, peruse arts and crafts booths, grab a bite to eat at a food court, register to vote, and get information about local nonprofit organizations. Parking is free and tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 to 18.

Dodge Bowl 1 Dodgeball Tournament: Love dodgeball? Sign up to be part of this tournament this Saturday and go for the gold. Individuals or teams of seven can register to play in two divisions, 16 and over and 15 and under. Part of the proceeds will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project. Have some fun, get active, and help a support a good cause!

Native Texas Butterfly House and Garden: Looking to get out and see some natural beauty? The Native Texas Butterfly House and Garden is open now through September 29th at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. Open Tuesday through Sunday, visit to experience free-flying native butterflies!
