Two Highland Park Independent School District fourth-graders recently paid a special visit to the First Lady of Real Estate — our founder and Chairman of the Board Ebby Halliday — and Mary Frances Burleson, president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies. Kate S. and Emily G. were there to deliver approximately 400 handwritten notes from their fellow fourth-graders in the HPISD thanking the Ebby Halliday Companies, which include Ebby Halliday Realtors and Dave Perry-Miller & Associates, for its sponsorship of the HPISD’s Centennial Anniversary.

“The schools have long been the heart of this exceptional community, and our company is pleased to help mark this significant milestone in a meaningful way,” says Ms. Burleson, who is a graduate of Highland Park High School and a member of the board of directors of the Highland Park Education Foundation. Ms. Burleson was recently named the recipient of the 2014 HPISD Distinguished Alumni Award.

More than 200 Ebby Halliday and Dave Perry-Miller associates, staff members and their family members have attended or are currently attending school in the HPISD. With five offices in and around the Park Cities, the Ebby Halliday Companies are deeply rooted in the community, having served Park Cities home buyers and sellers for nearly 70 years.
