Ebby Halliday Realtors has appointed Merry Shuck Talent Recruitment Director. Mary Frances Burleson, president and chief executive officer, recently made the announcement.
“Merry brings extensive real estate experience, as well as a strong desire to assist new and experienced agents in taking their careers to the next level,” Burleson says. “Intensely focused on helping real estate professionals attain their career goals, Merry truly appreciates the wide-ranging opportunities available to agents at the Ebby Halliday Companies.”
Merry, who has been with Ebby Halliday since 1996, has been a licensed real estate agent for 20 years. She started out as a sales professional in the firm’s Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office and joined the Corporate Office in 2001 as Outgoing Referral Coordinator. In 2008, Merry was promoted to Broker-to-Broker Referral Manager. In that position, she handled both incoming and outgoing broker-to-broker referrals generated through Ebby’s longtime affiliation with the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World network.
“Having served in several capacities, at both the field office and corporate levels, I have developed a very strong appreciation of the challenges and opportunities agents face every day in the competitive North Texas market,” Merry says. “Agents who have chosen Ebby as their broker benefit from the many advantages that are inherent to working with the Dallas-Fort Worth market leader.
“As the No. 1 independent broker in Texas, locally owned Ebby Halliday offers new and seasoned agents the ideal place to grow their business,” Merry says. “Ebby has served North Texas for 70 years, yet we are intensely focused on the future. Our company is blessed with extraordinary agents; industry-leading marketing, technology and educational support; the region’s largest in-house relocation division; and an executive team with experience, integrity and vision.”
As the Talent Recruitment Director for the Ebby Halliday Companies, which in addition to Ebby Halliday Realtors includes Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and Williams Trew Real Estate, Merry will provide recruitment support to branch office sales managers across North Texas and serve as the point of contact for individuals considering a career in real estate and those already licensed.
“I am truly excited about the opportunity to serve as Talent Recruitment Director for one of America’s most-admired real estate firms,” Merry says. “Ebby set the bar high. In 1945, she founded her namesake company on three principles of service. Today, we’re more committed than ever to honor her legacy through exemplary service to our clients, industry and community. If you are considering a career in real estate – or are a new or experienced agent – and are interested in being a part of something very special, I would welcome the opportunity to visit with you about the many ways associating with Ebby Halliday will help make your career goals reality.”
