With flu season ramping up, it’s important to keep you and your family healthy. Protection begins at home so here are six ways to give those pesky germs the boot.

Stop dragging germs around – When you notice your mop or dish towels start to smell or appear dirty, it’s time to ditch them. Swap out these items for fresh, clean ones to get optimal cleaning results.
Don’t forget about the sponge – Bacteria thrive in damp environments so a sponge is a dream home for germs. Place your sponge in the dishwasher or put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes to sanitize.
