Curt Kastan Named Sales Leader of Ebby’s Preston Plano Parkway Office

 

Ebby Halliday Realtors has appointed Curt Kastan sales leader of its Preston Plano Parkway Office. Chris Kelly, president and chief executive officer, recently made the announcement.

 

“Curt, who most recently served as sales director at another area brokerage, brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation to working effectively with clients through closing and beyond,” Kelly says. “Curt truly appreciates the wide-ranging educational opportunities and the industry-leading technology available to agents at Ebby Halliday Realtors.”

 

A third-generation real estate sales professional, Kastan literally grew up in the business. His grandparents owned a boutique brokerage on the beach in Ventura, Calif., and his mother was a top-producing luxury agent. Kastan followed in their footsteps, becoming licensed in 2000 and, by building on his family’s knowledge and experience, enjoyed early and sustained success.

 

“With over 20 years of experience, Curt brings real-world knowledge to the role of sales leader,” Kelly says. “He possesses keen marketing and transactional knowledge, luxury property expertise, a tireless work ethic, genuine integrity and a positive outlook. Most important, Curt is thrilled to be joining Ebby’s Preston Plano Parkway family.”

 

Says Kastan, “When I moved to North Texas several years ago it didn’t take long to realize what an iconic brand Ebby Halliday is, and how widely admired the company and its agents are in the real estate industry and beyond. I couldn’t be more excited to join the Ebby team.”

 

A longtime agent whose transition into management was an organic one, Kastan says he is, at heart, a servant leader. “I always try to place myself in others’ ‘shoes.’ I never ask people to do things I haven’t done or am not prepared to do myself.”

 

Kastan says Ebby’s focus on education and technology sets the company apart. “We offer our Associates extensive educational opportunities, including frequent classes on the latest software and social-media platforms,” he says.

 

Kastan adds that while technology is increasingly important, relationships remain paramount in residential real estate.

 

“Our clients are making one of the largest – if not the largest – purchases of their lifetime so it’s imperative that we get to know them and develop strong working relationships,” he says. “I want our clients and agents to know that they can rely on me at all times.”

 

When he is not working, Kastan enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His oldest daughter, Taylor, is a sales associate in Ebby’s Frisco Office.
