Located 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth on U.S. Highway 377, this community rests on the banks of Lake Granbury, a 30-mile long rural recreational haven. Fishing, swimming, water-skiing and sailing are enjoyed on the lake. Created in 1969, when the Brazos River was dammed at the DeCordova Bend, Lake Granbury has acres of surface area for water sports, fun, and relaxation.
