When I think of real estate professionals, no name comes quicker to mind than that of my longtime friend, Dick Clements. Dick sold to me my very first home and over the past thirty years has assisted my family in the successful acquisition of numerous investment properties, as well as other homesteads, throughout Dallas.

Our experience with Dick Clements was absolutely wonderful. Our house was on the market for 6 months with another real estate agency, and we received a total of 15 viewings/previews over the entire 6 months. We listed with Mr. Clements and within a month had surpassed the amount of viewings we had in the 6 months with our prior agent.

Not only was our exposure phenomenal, but Mr. Clements' service and expertise was unparalleled. We relocated to Washington State during the summer, and the burden of having our house still on the market while having to maintain it from a remote location was becoming difficult, especially with having to find a new agent. Having Mr. Clements was a godsend. He toured our house several times before becoming our agent, and informed us of things we could do to increase interest in our property. Not only was he helpful in guiding us through that, but he also went above and beyond by having a maintenance man and yard guy come and clean up/winterize the property for us.

I feel compelled to mention that he was also more informative and gave us more guidance than our previous agent, and made us aware of matters that were not even addressed by the previous agent. When we got an offer on our house, Mr. Clements was wonderful in negotiating and taking care of all the items that needed to be addressed per the contract and inspection. Never once did it occur to me that selling the house would be so painless. We don't know what we would have done without his help and guidance. He was so professional, savvy and capable. By the way, our house went on the market, got a contract and closed in exactly two months.

We still have many friends in Dallas, and we will refer as many as we can to Mr. Clements and Ebby Halliday.

Dear Dick,

I have fond memories of growing up and my family would attend church downtown then drive through the Swiss Avenue area. I would dream of someday owning one of the magnificent homes but it seemed an unreachable dream.

Twenty-five years ago, my wife and I graduated from Texas A&M University and as true Dallasites we were drawn back to the big city to start our family and careers. Our first home was a rental house in Lakewood, where we lived for 18 months. During our brief stay, we fell in love with the area and all the opportunities it had to offer. With the untimely passing of my father, we needed to move to Sunnyvale to be closer to my mother, but in our hearts we knew we would return to the area some day.

Fast forward. After living in Sunnyvale for many years and raising our three boys, we decided to downsize and the Lakewood area was first on our list. Words could not adequately express our gratitude to you for helping make this dream come true. Through God's blessing, your counsel and help, the Michael Gray family will soon call Swiss Avenue home!
