If I had to do one thing differently in selling our house, it would be to get Georgia Bradford sooner than we did. In our entire history of using realtors across four states, Georgia has been heads above the rest. She was so attentive to every detail we never had to worry about something slipping by or getting it at the last minute. She was always our advocate first and foremost and really represented our best interests the entire time.
Being an out of town seller, we weren't physically present to monitor things. If the house needed cleaning, Georgia provided names of cleaners and prices. She was there behind them to make sure they did an OK job. She provided plants and other niceties to make the house more homey since it was empty. When we needed repairs, she met the repair people and ensured the job was done properly. She checked up on the pool maintenance people to make sure they were doing their job. She would notice the beds needed weeding, meet the lawn/landscape service then call us to make sure we knew it was to be done. She would then check afterwards to make sure they had indeed done what they said they would.
She was so pleasant to deal with in very difficult situations - such a relief in stressful times! I would have never made it through the sale of the house without her evenhanded calm demeanor. I was amazed at her tenacity of following up with people and that was what sold our house for us. She stayed connected with every potential buyer, even when we had contracts pending. This turned out to be so valuable, as it was our third contract that would eventually close.
