Re: Laura Bumgarner

We just wanted you to know that you have a real gem of a sales lady in your Arlington office. Laura came into our home search when we were referred by the Grapevine agent who didn't want to follow us in our search to North Arlington.

We started looking for a home last June, 2007. We started out interested in Grapevine, Euless, Bedford, North Richland Hills. We just couldn't find our home in those areas. We were already living in an apartment, and thought there might be some possibilities in the North Arlington area. Our Grapevine agent. didn't feel comfortable working an area where she didn't know the schools, etc. She gave us Laura's phone number.

Laura came on the scene chock full of energy and optimism. She always was excited to see us and so friendly over the phone. We really wondered if she had been a former Miss Texas! If she was, she surely would have won the Miss Congeniality title! She never knew this, but we were so happy when our friends from Michigan got to meet her and get to know first-hand a real Texas drawl!

I know she must have been discouraged with us, but she never, ever showed it. We worked with Laura from September 2007 until we stumbled upon "IT" in February 2008. Laura told us when we saw the home that was meant to be ours, we would know it. We apologized several times, because we felt we might be wasting her time. She was always available for us when we would call and say we wanted to see this house or that house. We would sometimes have 8 homes on the list. When we would apologize, she would say things like, totally understand! 'y'all are not buying a shirt! This is a huge investment."

We were all amazed when we found our house in Hurst, of all places. We looked at one house in Hurst, and it was THE ONE. Laura stuck with us through thick and thin. She deserves every penny she earned with this sale. And, to top it all off, when she showed up for our closing on Feb. 22, she brought house-warming gifts!

We think she's pretty special.

The purpose of this letter is to give you some honest feedback on the wonderful job that Laura Bumgarner did in selling our house.

From the first contact with Laura, she continually demonstrated her depth of knowledge of the real estate business, and her totally positive attitude about applying that knowledge to the sale of our home. Several unexpected issues arose at different times while the contract was pending. Laura handled each one of them smoothly and to the satisfaction of all concerned. Her communications were constant, thorough, and encouraging. She helped keep us in a positive frame of mind throughout the process. Her enthusiasm is infectious.

So, to say that Laura went above and beyond the call of duty on this sale would be a gross understatement. “Going the extra mile” seems to be her normal mode of operation. She is far and away the finest agent we have ever known, and my wife and I between us have purchased and sold many homes over the years.

It is hard not to have too many superlatives when talking about Laura’s performance in the sale of our home, but please accept this as honest feedback about a superior performance.
