After getting married and moving to Corpus Christi, Texas, I not only had to sell my home in Mesquite, Texas, but I had to do it 435 miles away. I was in a desperate situation because I had two mortgages to pay and the market in Mesquite was anything but hot. I have known Lena Moss for over 20 years as we were both managers for the same Fortune 500 company. This year, as I was going through a divorce, I called upon my friend to find me my own house. I knew Lena's work ethic and professionalism; therefore I trusted her for house guidance, particularly in an uncertain market. She helped me find the perfect house in no time. Similar homes in our neighborhood, that had gone on the market prior to ours, remained unsold.

The fact that I was going through a divorce, and not living with my husband for the majority of Lena's involvement, caused her more work than normal, particularly in the area of communication (with all parties) and securing proper documentation. She would meet us together or separate, anytime, anywhere, in order to keep the process moving timely and irregardless of her personal schedule. Also, I appreciated the fact that Lena could always separate the "friendship" from the "professional" side, whenever it was necessary.
