Betty Misko is a distinguished real estate professional with many years of experience in real estate sales and management. In 2001, she became the vice president and director of sales offices for Ebby Halliday Realtors and was later promoted to senior vice president of the Ebby Halliday Companies. She also serves as the company’s Broker of Record.
Ms. Misko started her real estate career in 1975 in Plano, Texas, as a sales associate. Within her first year, she achieved million-dollar sales award status and closed 34 transactions. She was a top-selling associate for nine years and managed a local branch real estate office for 16 years. In 1992, Betty was elected president of The Collin County Association of Realtors. In that same year, she was also nominated and selected as the Realtor of the Year. In 1995 and 1996, she was selected to serve as the Texas Association of Realtors regional vice president, and represented over 10,000 agents at the state level.
In 1997 and 1998, she became president of the North Texas Realtors Information Services and also served as the director of the Certified Residential Brokers Council for the state of Texas. She was then elected secretary-treasurer, vice president and served as president of the CRB (Certified Residential Brokerage) Texas Chapter from 2003-2004. Betty continues to uphold her outstanding track record in training, management and motivation of independent contractors. Her designations include the Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB) from the Realtors National Marketing Institute as well as the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).
Betty is the recipient of one of the most prestigious awards in real estate, the national Omega Tau Rho Medallion of Services. This award is only given to real estate professionals who go above and beyond specific leadership criteria on local, state and national levels.
