Brandon Coogler is a native Texan and has lived in Scurry since 2016; when he and his wife Sarah moved to Scurry to run the family cattle farm. In both his personal life and career, Brandon has a strong desire to stay connected to the community and in the November 2020 election, Brandon was elected City Commissioner of Grays Prairie. When asked why he wanted to get into public service, Brandon said: “I want to be able to lend a helping hand, and be a voice for my neighbors”.
Brandon has his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and his minor in Business from Texas State University. While his passion for community service lead him to pursue a criminal justice degree, his love for people and aptness in communication landed him in sales. Since 2013 Brandon has worked in outside industrial sales crafting his skills of negotiation, prospecting, and listening to clients needs and wants.
Along with being a loving husband and father, Brandon has a passion for the outdoors. In his spare time away from the family farm, he’s often found hunting or fishing with friends and family.
