Our company was founded on service. Three points of service, actually: service to the client, service to the industry and service to the communities in which we serve. That emphasis on service is as apparent today as it was in 1945 when Ebby Halliday, Realtors was a one-woman, one-office operation.
As we officially celebrate 65 Years of Service this year, we would like to announce, as we do every year, the Company-Wide winners of our VIP Excellence in Service Award.
Winners are determined by the total number of points received from questions pertaining specifically to service in the Buyer/Seller Surveys sent to Ebby Clients. It’s worth noting that this year we had a 28% rate of return (well above the industry average, according to Continuity Programs, Inc.) and 98% of those surveys ranked Ebby Halliday and their Sales Associate as “Good” or “Excellent”! So congratulations to our entire Home Team for your great service in 2009!

The spread includes the great story of how Jane came to know Fort Worth designer Ken Blasingame after a few pieces in his store window caught her eye one ordinary Saturday afternoon. That chance encounter led Jane to become an avid fan of his work and after a trip to Italy with her husband Kevin, they decided to enlist his creativity to bring a little bit of Sardinia to their new Fort Worth home.
The end result is impressive – from the lime green front doors to the kitchen tiled in vibrant turquoise, the McGarry’s home is comprised of cheerfully colored, comfortable spaces.
To read the full story about Jane McGarry’s Ken Blasingame designed Fort Worth home and see full photos, pick up a copy of the January/February issue of D Home Magazine or visit their website.
It’s interesting to note that Blasingame is also the designer of choice for Former First Lady Laura Bush. She chose him for the interior redesign of several rooms inside The White House as well as her Crawford ranch home, also known as “The Texas White House” during the Bush Administration.
If this great Fort Worth home leaves you yearning for more, you can find an abundance of other DFW homes for sale at the website recently named one of the industry’s best by The Web Marketing Association, ebby.com.
