Texas has the Best Cities for Jobs

WalletHub recently released their findings from a survey titled “The Best Cities to Find a Job,” which analyzed the relative employment opportunities among the 60 largest U.S. cities. The study sought to discover the cities that have the strongest job markets and the greatest prospects for long-term financial security. And what was No. 1 on the list? Fort Worth, TX!

Arlington (No. 4), Dallas (No. 5), Austin (No. 6), and Houston (No. 10), also made the overall top ten! Additionally, the survey found that Arlington ranked No. 2 for most job openings per capita, Austin and Houston ranked No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, for highest average annual income, Fort Worth ranked No. 5 for fastest-falling unemployment, and Fort Worth and Arlington ranked No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, for annual home-buying power with median salary.

Great news all around for Texas residents! Corpus Christi (No. 12), San Antonio (No. 23), and El Paso (No. 42) also represented the great Lone Star State in the overall rankings.
