Lady Gaga: Tonight, July 17, Lady Gaga and her Little Monsters will take over American Airlines Center for the night during Lady Gaga’s artRave: The ARTPOP Ball. Opening acts include Lady Starlight and Crayon Pop.

 

Asian Film Festival: Today is the last night to catch the Asian Film Festival at the Angelika Dallas. Shows begin at noon and go until midnight, but the closing night film, As The Lights Go Out, a firefighter flick, plays at 7:30p.m.

 

Led Zeppelin Tribute Band: Friday, July 18, Dallas-Fort Worth’s Swan Song will fill the Granda Theater with the best of Led Zeppelin.

 

’till Midnight presented by the Nasher Sculpture Center: Friday, be serenaded by Fort Worth’s blues and rock band Foxtrot Uniform before seeing a screening of Bringing Up Baby, starring Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. Plus, if you join or renew your Nasher membership, you’ll be able to enjoy a craft beer tasting featuring 903 Brewers.

 

Improv: Friday is the last night in the improv series to get your share of laughs at the Dallas Comedy House in Deep Ellum.

 

Salsa Class: Head to Klyde Warren Park’s Muse family Performance Pavilion to shake your stuff and learn some salsa with Studio 22.  Friday classes run from 6 to 7pm and take place through August 1.

 

The Mavericks: Catch this Nashville-based country/americana band and the Granda Theater Saturday, July 19.

 

Poolside Fashion Show: Dallas Red Foundation, a nonprofit HIV/AIDS organization, is hosting its 2nd annual poolside fashion show at the Ilume Cedar Springs Apartments. Attendees will also enjoy an open bar, live entertainment, and food from Mi Cocina with their ticket purchase.

 

Moon Day: Celebrate the 45th anniversary of the first moon landing a day early at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Saturday, you’ll experience a full day of family-friendly space exploration, exhibits, and classes.

 

CADD Bus Tour: Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas hosts bus tours that allow participants to gain access to studios, galleries, private collections, and art installations. This Saturday, the itinerary includes Circuit 12 Contemporary. Deadbolt Studios, Galleri Urbane, and more.

 

Oscar de la Renta: Five Decades of Style: Fashion fans will love the newest exhibit beginning Sunday, July 20 at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Through October 5, attendees can gaze upon the memorable clothes made for first ladies Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Nancy Reagan by one of fashion’s biggest names.
