Wednesday, Nov. 5:
Lazaranda 3rd Anniversary: Celebrations will take place on Friday and Saturday this weekend. Friday, join chef Antonio Marques for a five-course, tequila-paired dinner. Saturday, the restaurant will hold a party featuring special prices on house margaritas, Dos Equis, rib-eye tacos and more.

2nd-Annual Coffee and Pie, Oh My!: Slow Food Dallas presents their annual fall fundraiser featuring Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters and Emporium Pies. Try some pie and BYO-Mug for hand-poured coffee for a good cause.
NTX Beer Week Brewer’s Ball: Take part in an intimate evening of food and frivolity with craft beer’s most distinguished at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel. The event includes 40 breweries and 11 of Dallas’ most exciting restaurants.
Saturday, Nov. 8:
Chefs at the Market Cooking Class: This week’s class will be held by Chef Jason West of Steel Restaurant & Lounge. The theme is a pan-Asian dinner in Autumn.
Pop-Up Celebrity Pastry Chef Bake Sale: Chef Nicolas Blouin and Empire Baking Company are hosting a pop-up that will give 100% of the proceeds to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. You’ll be able to purchase French-inspired creations until 2pm- or until they’re sold out.
Sunday, Nov. 9:
Café Momentum Pop-Up Dinner: This is the final dinner at The Joule Hotel before Café Momentum opens its doors in December. The event features an all-star cast of chefs and will be held on the rooftop terrace.
2014 Pie Contest: Whether you like to bake pies or eats pies, you should head to the 6th-Annual Pie Contest held by Vickery Meadow Local Market at Half Price Books. Enter your winning pies by Nov. 7.
Ascension: The Design District coffee joint is planning to open a second branch in spring of 2015. Located at the Crescent, the space will be much larger but will have a similar menu serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Del Frisco’s: The flagship steakhouse location in North Dallas will relocate after 20 years to Uptown Dallas. It’s slated to open in 2016 at McKinney and Olive.
Jasper’s: Kent Rathbun is planning a fourth branch of the restaurant in Richardson that is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
Yard House: This “upscale-casual eatery known for great food, classic rock music and 130-250 taps of imported, craft and specialty ales and lagers” opened in Addison last week on Belt Line.
