Looking for a great Mother’s Day gift for mom? Tickets to this weekend’s 42nd-Annual Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Tour are still available.
One of Dallas’ most time-honored events, this is one home tour that is sure to bring a smile to mom’s face. The Mother’s Day Tour takes place Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10, and will feature six of the city’s most fabulous early 20th-century homes, including 5521 Swiss Ave., sponsored by Ebby’s Lakewood/Lake Highlands Office.
This fun-filled event will also include an art fair, antique car display, a children’s play area, live entertainment, free horse-drawn carriage rides, complimentary air-conditioned mini-coaches travelling between homes, fresh-prepared food, ice-cold beverages, and much more.

A Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch in Savage Park on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature entertainment by Matt Tolentino & The Singapore Slingers, a big-band-era orchestra specializing in music written between 1900 and 1935. Brunch tickets are $25 per person. To reserve yours, call 214-564-7348.
