Thursday, May 7:

Ed Sheeran: The singer, who has climbed the charts with his latest album, X, will perform at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie with opener Foy Vance.


Music Thursday: This week’s headliner at Klyde Warren Park is Michael Prysock, an Arkansas-native whose one-man-band includes vocals, guitar, and harmonica.


Soluna Festival: The inaugural performing arts festival will be held throughout Dallas over the course of 18 days.


Friday, May 8:

Gregg Allman: The Allman Brothers Band member will be at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie performing a show that will be opened by his son’s band, the Devon Allman Band.


Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games: Enjoy a day inspired by the Scots with dance competitions, games, a bagpipe band, an all-Scottish beed dog show and more at Maverick Stadium in Arlington.


Saturday, May 9:

Homegrown Music and Arts Festival: Bands with ties to Texas will be the highlight of the 2015 festival held at Main Street Garden. You’ll also get to see live art demonstrations and feast on food from local vendors.


Lana Del Ray and Courtney Love: Experience this unique pairing as they make the second stop on their joint tour at Gexa Energy Pavilion.


Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Tour: Looking for a great gift for mom? Tickets to this weekend’s 42nd-annual tour are still available.


Sunday, May 10:

Mother’s Day at the Arboretum: Spend a day in the garden celebrating Mom. There will be live music at Woolf Circle, a family photo area, and a local artists at the Dallas Arboretum.
