Tuesday, August 4

Reverse Happy Hour: Mix and mingle at W Dallas‘ Living Room Bar. Their reverse happy hour offers signature cocktails, small bites and the sweet sounds of a live DJ, all at happy hour prices. 7-11 p.m.

 

Free Smoothie Tuesday: Nothing says summer quite like strawberry and lemon. Head over to one of the 38 D-FW Smoothie King locations (excluding airports) to try their new Lemon Twist Strawberry smoothie for FREE, offered all day.

 

Thursday, August 6

Evening in the Shed: Occurring every Thursday evening in the month of July, Dallas Farmer’s Market will host an Evening in the Shed. Guests will have the opportunity to shop the market for everything local, including arts and crafts, fresh produce and artisan food. Beer, wine and live music will also be in attendance. Visit the calendar to get the scoop on who’s performing every Thursday. 4-9 p.m.

 

Oak Wine Dinner: Join the Dallas Chapter of the International Wine & Food Society and chef John Tesar of Oak restaurant for a five-course wine dinner. Tickets are $180 for members and $200 for non-members. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.

 

Saturday, August 8

Local Brews, Local Grooves: Deemed one of the ultimate festivals to attend, Dallas’ House of Blues will be hosting its annual craft beer and music festival, featuring local Texas breweries, bands and tasty food. 3 p.m. Purchase tickets here.

 

Sunday, August 9

Salsa & Sangria Sundays: Enjoy sangria and live salsa music on Saint Ann’s patio, located in the Harwood District of downtown Dallas. 7-10 p.m.

Cat Cafés: Dallas is jumping on the cat café trend with not just one, but two coffee shops where patrons can mingle with cats in a relaxed environment.

 

Dallas Chocolate Festival: Tickets are now available for the annual chocolate festival, held at the Addison Conference Centre on Sunday, September 12.

 

Nature’s Plate: The vegan restaurant will be setting up shop in Lake Highlands this month, offering healthy plant-based foods.
