The downtown Dallas-Oak Cliff streetcar began its new seven-day, later schedule this morning. The free service now runs every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and midnight every day. The extended-days, extended-hours schedule comes in preparation for the streetcar’s expansion into the popular Bishop Arts District later this year.
Currently, riders can go from Union Station in downtown, over the Trinity River, into Oak Cliff. Once the route is expanded this fall to Bishop Arts, it will run every 20 minutes.
