7. Slash Your Water Use (drink less)

8. Share Home Improvement Projects (spend more time with the family)

9. Exercise Your DIY Skills (get fit)

Decorate with Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year

PantonePantoneBannerThin

Pantone® recently unveiled its Color of the Year, what it describes as “a symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”

This year’s color selection? Pantone 15-0343, otherwise known as Greenery.

Described by Pantone as “a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade,” Greenery is reminiscent of the outdoors and is supposed to inspire consumers to “take a deep breath, oxygenate, and reinvigorate.”

While it’s never a bad idea to decorate your home with fresh plants, here are some alternative green options that will bring life into your décor.

Pantone Color of the Year1. Modern Green/Chrome Dining Chairs – $110.99
These modern dining chairs feature a forest-themed cut-out and are a great way to bring fun and functionality to a dining area.

2. Interlock Greek Key Pillow Cover – $129
This 100 percent cotton pillow cover features a classic embroidered key pattern. Use it to instantly add a hint of brightness to any seat, sofa, or bed.

3. KitchenAid® Stand Mixer, Green Apple – $329.99
We’re green with envy for anyone who adds this stand mixer to their kitchen countertop.

4. NEST® Lemongrass & Ginger Liquid Soap – $22
The only thing better than this soap’s bright and sleek packaging is its crisp, herbal scent.

5. Stemless Wine Glasses (Set of 4) –  $37.95
Who says stemless wine glasses should only be used for wine? We love the white dotted design on these elegant and durable glasses.

6. Fiddle Leaf Tree – $299
Fiddle leaf fig trees are on-trend right now due to their ability to add sophistication and a contemporary feel to any décor.
