Stacey Buettner Named Sales Leader of Arlington, Mansfield Offices


Stacey Buettner is the new Sales Leader of Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Arlington and Mansfield Offices. Chris Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ebby Halliday Companies, and Carolyn Rosson, Vice President of Brokerage, recently made the announcement.

“Stacey brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation to coaching agents and teams to reach their full potential,” Kelly says. “She is the ideal person to succeed Cathy Keetch, who has been an incredible leader of our Arlington and Mansfield Offices.” Keetch was recently named co-sales leader of Ebby’s Southlake Office, where she will join Rosson in leading the office.

Says Rosson, “We are very excited to welcome Stacey to her new role with our Arlington and Mansfield Offices and we are so grateful for Cathy’s continuing leadership. Both Stacey and Cathy live our People First mission daily.”

Buettner started her career with Ebby Halliday in 1998. In 2004, she created and opened her own brokerage firm, which she successfully operated for over a decade. Since 2014, she has been the Team Leader for two well-known North Texas real estate offices.

“I definitely feel like I am back at home,” Buettner says. “I am so excited with the direction of the Ebby Halliday Companies and to be a part of the momentum.”

Buettner is a servant leader at heart who leads by example. “When working with agents, I like to cheer, to educate, and to always create leaders around me. I get a lot of joy from watching others succeed. I’m excited about growing our Arlington and Mansfield Offices to the next level and I am very much looking forward to working with each of our agents on their business plans and helping them achieve their goals.”

Buettner’s passion for real estate and leadership is second only to her family. She has been married for 24 years to her college sweetheart Matt and they have two daughters, one at the University of Maryland on a softball scholarship and the other in the 8th grade and also a stellar softball athlete. 

Stacey Buettner is committed to North Texas and the real estate industry. She served seven years on the Board of Directors for the Collin County Association of Realtors and was the recipient of the organization’s Distinguished Service Award. She has also served as the President of the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Ebby Acquires Cedar Creek Lake Brokerage


North Texas-based Ebby Halliday Companies announced today it has acquired Johnson Monroe Realtors, a leader in the Cedar Creek Lake residential real estate market for the past 38 years. 

Johnson Monroe Realtors has long been a premier real estate company at Cedar Creek Lake. Its heritage goes back to the original real estate agency in the area, Paschal Real Estate, which began prior to the creation of the Cedar Creek Lake reservoir in 1966.

Jason Bell Named Sales Leader of Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office


Jason Bell is the new sales leader of Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell Office. Bell will also continue in his role as sales leader of Ebby’s Flower Mound | Lewisville Office. Chris Kelly, president and chief executive officer of the Ebby Halliday Companies, and Carolyn Rosson, vice president of brokerage, recently made the announcement.

“We are thrilled Jason has accepted this additional responsibility and know he is absolutely the right person at the right time in just the right roles,” says Kelly. “Jason brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation to working effectively with clients through closing and beyond.”

Bell succeeds Kim Nwachukwu as sales leader of Ebby’s Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell Office. Nwachukwu has chosen to return to serving clients as a full-time agent in the office Bell will lead.

Jennifer Young Named Sales Leader of Ebby’s Preston Keller Office


Jennifer Young is the new sales leader of Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Preston Keller OfficeChris Kelly, president and chief executive officer of the Ebby Halliday Companies, and Carolyn Rosson, vice president of brokerage, recently made the announcement.

“Jennifer brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation to coaching agents and teams to reach their full potential,” Kelly says. “She is the ideal person to succeed Vivian Black, who has been an incredible leader of our Preston Keller Office for many years.”

Adds Rosson, “We are very excited to welcome Jennifer to her new role with our Preston Keller Office and we are so grateful for Vivian’s leadership and friendship over the years.”

Black, who recently announced her intention to retire, began her real estate career with Ebby Halliday Realtors in 1991 and has led the Preston Keller Office for 29 years.

“Vivian Black has been an extraordinary example for all of us at the Preston Keller Office and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead an office that is so widely respected,” says Young.  

A graduate of Louisiana State University, Young worked as a registered nurse before becoming a real estate agent in 2014. When she moved to Dallas from Louisiana her Realtor was Mike Harvey. Young says Harvey, with his enthusiasm for real estate, convinced her to become an agent. She joined The Harvey Team in 2014, and when the team moved to Ebby in 2015 she joined them in the Preston Keller Office.

“I knew I could learn so much from working with Mike and Pam Harvey,” Young says. “They are so widely admired and respected. Both Mike and Pam have been great mentors and so helpful to me over the years.”

Young says while learning the real estate business from Mike and Pam, she began to notice how much she also enjoys teaching and mentoring. 

“I’m a servant leader at heart,” she says. “As a former nurse, I love to take care of people and I get a lot of joy from watching others succeed. I’m excited about growing our Preston Keller Office to the next level and I am very much looking forward to working with each of our agents on their business plans and helping them achieve their goals.”

Young and her husband, Chris, are the proud parents of four children, ages 16 to 21. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering in the community and cheering on the LSU Tigers. 

“I am honored and excited to take on this leadership role,” Young says. “I’m looking forward to continuing to build on our Preston Keller Office’s extraordinary success and growing our brand as the Ebby Halliday Companies celebrate 75 years of serving North Texas.”

One of the surest signs of a great company is longtime employees, or in our case, sales associates and staff members. The Ebby Halliday Companies are fortunate to have countless individuals who have been with our firm for many years and each year we take the time to honor those who have reached their 25th Anniversary with Ebby Halliday.

 

Recently, longtime members of the Ebby Halliday family received the 25-Year Pin at a luncheon at Fearing’s at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas honoring their significant contributions to the company. In addition to the honorees, this special event was attended by President and CEO Chris Kelly, Executive Vice President and Director of Sales Offices Betty Misko, Regional Vice Presidents Carolyn Rosson and Malinda Howell, Vice President and Director of Marketing Randall Graham and Chairman Emeritus Mary Frances Burleson.

 

Everyone enjoyed spending time together, reminiscing about their time with the company, and sharing favorite memories. “This special occasion reminds us that our company has longevity and that staff members and sales associates enjoy being here,” says Kelly. “It’s also a great reminder that we are quite a family of caring people.”

Shelley Davis Named Manager of Ebby’s Denton Office

 

Ebby Halliday Realtors has appointed Shelley Davis sales manager of its Denton office. Chris Kelly, president and chief executive officer, recently made the announcement.

 

“Shelley, who has lived in Denton since 1981, started her career with Ebby as an agent in the Denton office more than 30 years ago,” Kelly says. “A graduate of the University of North Texas, she is passionate about Denton, its schools and family-friendly environment.”

 

Davis will report to Carolyn Rosson, regional vice president.

 

“Among the reasons Shelley joined Ebby Halliday are our company’s stellar reputation, its exceptional training opportunities and the ongoing support we offer agents,” Rosson says. “She believed Ebby Halliday was a place she could grow professionally and she has certainly done that. I am confident her background will benefit our Denton office in many ways.”

 

Davis most recently served as Operations Manager of Ebby’s Corporate Real Estate Services Department. She possesses extensive management and relocation experience.

 

“I’m very excited about the opportunity to serve our Denton agents,” Davis says. “I also am looking forward to adding new and seasoned agents to our Denton team.”

Carolyn Rosson, sales manager of the Southlake Office, and Malinda Howell, sales manager of the 190 – Richardson Office, have been named regional vice presidents. Rosson and Howell will report to President and CEO Chris Kelly.

 

“Carolyn and Malinda, both respected leaders in the residential real estate industry, will assist and support our sales managers across the North Texas region, as well as our core services, in delivering a remarkable experience to our clients and sales associates,” Kelly said. “Both Malinda and Carolyn have demonstrated exceptional leadership over the years and we are very happy to have them in positions where they can mentor and assist a wider range of sales managers and associates.”

Rosson began her sales management career in the Las Colinas market and in 2008 became the manager of Ebby’s Southlake Office. She has served on the board of directors of the MetroTex Association of Realtors and as regional vice president of the Texas Association of Realtors. Howell began her real estate career with Ebby Halliday in 1998. Also, an industry leader on the local, state and national levels, she possesses a vast knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has long served as a mentor to new and experienced real estate agents, as well as new sales managers. Howell is a member of the board of directors of the Texas Association of Realtors and has served as chairwoman of the political action committee for MetroTex Association of Realtors. She is Maestro Leadership-certified by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.
