For the third year in a row, Ebby Halliday Realtors is sponsoring the full season of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s DSO on the GO performance series, which brings the world-renowned orchestra to concert halls and churches across North Texas.

 

On Saturday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m., the DSO will perform a diverse classical program including Beethoven’s beloved “Egmont Overture” and Brahms’ charming “Academic Festival Overture” as well as Richard Strauss’ “First Horn Concerto” featuring Principal Horn David Cooper. The performance takes place at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, in Frisco.

On Sunday, April 2, at 6:30 p.m., the DSO brings the mighty brass and percussion of the orchestra to the Park Cities for a program featuring the music of Percy Grainger. Selections will include “Irish Tune from the Country Derry,” “Molly on the Shore” and “Shepherd’s Hey” arranged for brass ensembles. The performance takes place at Park Cities Baptist Church, 3933 Northwest Highway.

On Friday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m., the DSO brings the mighty brass and percussion of the orchestra to Oak Cliff for a program featuring the music of Percy Grainger. Selections will include “Irish Tune from the Country Derry,” “Molly on the Shore” and “Shepherd’s Hey” arranged for brass ensembles. The performance takes place at Cliff Temple Baptist Church, 125 Sunset Ave., in Dallas.

On Thursday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m., the DSO brings the mighty brass and percussion of the orchestra to Preston Hollow for an evening of Christmas cheer. The performance, “A Big Brassy Christmas & Organ Extravaganza,” takes place at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road.
