Patio Sessions: Tonight, Thursday, May 29, is one of the last nights to enjoy an evening in the Dallas Arts District listening to live music from 5:30-7:30 p.m. brought to you by the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

 

Music Thursdays at Klyde Warren Park: Enjoy this week’s performance by The Quebe Sisters and The Dallas Symphony Orchestra tonight at 8 p.m.

 

New Works Festival: Presented by Kitchen Dog Theater, you can expect this festival to include kitschy art, rowdy partying, and raw talent. Plays, readings, and other events vary by day and go on through June 21.

 

Swan Lake: The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will bring Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet to life alongside the Texas Ballet Theater at Bass Performance Hall from Friday, May 30, to Sunday, June 1.

 

Improv: Get your share of laughs every Friday and Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. through July 18 at the Dallas Comedy House in Deep Ellum.

 

Classics at Klyde Warren Park: This Saturday, May 31, grab your blanket for the last installment of the park’s latest film series, Hollywood classics.

 

Home Coffee Brewing Classes: The first Sunday of every month, including this Sunday, June 1, you’re invited to a free class from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to learn how to become a bro barista at home.

Rob Schneider: Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1, Improv Addison will host the former Saturday Night Live cast member with shows starting at 8 p.m.

 

Front Porch Showdown: There’s no better place to listen to bluegrass music than this Saturday, May 31, at Dallas Heritage Village. There will be ten bands as well as food trucks and arts and crafts.

 

BFD 2014: If you love rock and roll and lots of it, head to Gexa Energy Pavilion on Sunday, June 1, for headliner Five Finger Death Punch along with Steel Panther, The Pretty Reckless, Theory of a Deadman, and more.
