Dallas No. 1 for Small-Biz Job Growth

Dallas regained its spot as the nation’s No. 1 metropolitan statistical area for small-business job growth in October, according to the Dallas Business Journal.

Nationally, job growth remained steady, growing at 0.23 percent over the past 12 months, according to the study conducted by payroll services company Paychex and business analyst firm IHS.

Dallas has been the country’s star for several months, only missing the No. 1 spot as the top job creator in one month: September. Officials are attributing that to a random fluctuation in the market. In October, Dallas overtook Seattle.

That growth isn’t expected to stop. While index numbers can’t predict the future, Dallas is showing very positive small-business growth trends.

At Ebby Halliday Realtors, the strength of the Dallas economy is music to our ears. Simply put, we’re bullish on Dallas and the entire D-FW region.
