DSO on the GO: Enjoy a Concert Close to Home

 

Ebby Halliday Realtors is proud to be a return sponsor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s community concert series, DSO on the GO. This September brings five opportunities to enjoy one of the world’s foremost orchestras right in your “backyard.”

 

The first DSO on the GO performance of the 2018/19 season takes place September 7 at Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Oak Cliff, where the DSO will perform an all-Bach program, including Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Concerto in C minor for Violin and Oboe. The DSO will repeat this program on September 8 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas and on September 9 at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake. On September 16, the DSO performs The Sounds of Latin America at the Murchison Performing Arts Center at the University of North Texas in Denton and on September 23, the DSO performs Mendelssohn’s Italian at the Tom and Verda Shine Performance Hall at Duncanville High School.

DSO Coming to Oak Cliff June 16

On Friday, June 16, at 7:30 p.m., the DSO will perform a diverse classical program including Mendelssohn’s “Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Ravel’s “Introduction and Allegro for Harp and Orchestra” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 2 in D Major.” The performance takes place at Cliff Temple Baptist Church, 125 Sunset Ave., in Dallas.
