Happy Birthday Ebby!

Happy Birthday Ebby!

Ebby Halliday, the founder of Ebby Halliday Realtors and one of Texas’ most-admired entrepreneurs, celebrates her 104th birthday today! Always committed to following one of her company’s founding principles — service to the community — Ebby is again using her birthday as a way to benefit others.

Ebby has lived a life of service that is truly remarkable — a life that has positively impacted literally thousands of people along the way. So, it’s not surprising that Ebby has asked, that in lieu of gifts, if you would like to honor her birthday that you make a donation to Ebby’s Place at the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas.

Over the past year, the 20,000-square-foot building near Love Field has been transformed into a beautiful new community outreach center that will help lift economically challenged working women out of poverty. Ebby’s Place, opening this spring, will be a gathering spot where women come to be mentored, coached and encouraged by their peers.

To honor Ebby’s wish, simply click here or drop a check in the mail to the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas, with a notation on the check that it’s for Ebby’s Place. Send your check to: YWCA, Attention Rena Smith, 2603 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX. 75235.

And, to share your favorite Ebby memory or story to be included in a special keepsake book that will be bound and presented to Ebby, simply click here.

Happy 104th Birthday Ebby!
