Color Fun Run Benefits Habitat for Humanity

Color Fun Run Benefits Habitat for Humanity

Ebby Halliday’s Richardson – 190 Office is proud to be a sponsor of the First-Annual Habitat Color Fun Run. The event, which takes place this Saturday, September 24, at Firewheel Golf Park, will raise funds for Garland Area Habitat for Humanity new-construction projects in Garland, Rowlett and Sachse (tornado area rebuild and new-build) and honors the tornado first responders of December 26, 2015.

Catch the fever and come on out for this family-friendly event where colored powder thrown in the air promises to cover you from head to toe! Enjoy a short 1.5-mile fun run (walk, skip, jog, or stroll) in the evening — you’ll start in white and finish as a modern day Picasso! Don’t worry — the color is eco-friendly as the bright colors are made up of food-grade cornstarch with FDA approved colors that will wash off skin.

Also on-site will be food trucks, live bands, bounce houses and more. Families and children are encouraged to sign up. Strollers are welcome. Children 5 and under are free with an accompanying paid adult.

All proceeds benefit Garland Area Habitat for Humanity. For more information and to register, click here.
