New Shopping Center for Lake Highlands

We’re excited about the newly announced plans to add an 8-acre retail hub to the Lake Highlands Town Center.

New development plans for the retail center show a 30,000-square-foot main building and smaller buildings ranging from 5,000 square feet to almost 10,000 square feet each.

LHTC-plan

Originally planned to house a mix of shops, restaurants, apartments and commercial space, the 70-acre Town Center first broke ground in 2007 and currently features a 200-unit apartment block.

At Ebby Halliday Realtors, we love Lake Highlands and we know you will, too. This East Dallas classic offers a wide variety of housing options, all within a short distance of White Rock Lake and downtown Dallas. Whether you’re looking for a stately Tudor, a ranch-style home or even Art Deco, you’ll find Lake Highlands offers a unique, fun lifestyle and the best of big-city living. At Ebby Halliday, we love the newly revealed logo and we love that it grew out of an organic community project that involved many people who are passionate about their community.

Says Darlene Ellison, a lifelong resident of East Dallas and a longtime leader in the community, “In planning for the future of East Dallas, we believe that drawing recognition toward the area will not only bring greater traffic to local businesses, but it will also assist with enhancing our top-notch schools, maintaining strong property values, and bring an increased awareness of our eclectic, diverse community.”

At Ebby Halliday, we couldn’t agree more. We’re proud of our deep East Dallas roots and equally proud to be the only real estate company sponsor of “East Dallas Is.”
