Jason Bell Named Sales Leader of Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office

Jason Bell is the new sales leader of Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell Office. Bell will also continue in his role as sales leader of Ebby’s Flower Mound | Lewisville Office. Chris Kelly, president and chief executive officer of the Ebby Halliday Companies, and Carolyn Rosson, vice president of brokerage, recently made the announcement.

“We are thrilled Jason has accepted this additional responsibility and know he is absolutely the right person at the right time in just the right roles,” says Kelly. “Jason brings a thorough understanding of all aspects of real estate, from marketing and lead generation to working effectively with clients through closing and beyond.”

Bell succeeds Kim Nwachukwu as sales leader of Ebby’s Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell Office. Nwachukwu has chosen to return to serving clients as a full-time agent in the office Bell will lead.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as sales leader of this office, working with some of the best agents in the business,” Nwachukwu says. “I have missed, however, the everyday interaction with clients in real estate sales and I’m excited to return to that side of the business. I believe that Jason is just the right person for this job. He brings new energy and ideas and is great with education, technology and social media. Jason and I are focused on ensuring this leadership transition is a smooth one and that this will be a very positive experience for our Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell agents and clients.”

“Jason joined Ebby Halliday in 2016 and has built a successful real estate practice by consistently going above and beyond for clients,” Rosson says. “He has also been an effective mentor for many of our agents. Jason has a thoughtful communication style that makes him very relatable to the agents he serves.”

Before embarking on his real estate career, Bell worked in the life and health insurance industries for 15 years. He holds the Graduate, Realtor Institute and Pricing Strategy Advisor designations.

“I’ve always enjoyed teaching, mentoring and coaching,” Bell says. “I feel like it’s what I’ve been called to do. I’m super excited about my new role as sales leader of Ebby’s Irving | Las Colinas | Coppell Office. “I strongly believe that my way is not the only way. I’m more interested in learning about what an agent is comfortable doing and then helping them maximize the opportunities.”

Born and raised in North Texas, Bell is a graduate of Texas Tech University. He and his wife Amy have three children and enjoy spending time boating, fishing, golfing and watching their children play sports.

Ebby Halliday Realtors has appointed Kristi Davis sales manager of its Flower Mound/Lewisville Office. Mary Frances Burleson, president and chief executive officer, recently made the announcement.

“Kristi brings extensive sales and management experience, as well as a strong desire to assist our Flower Mound/Lewisville agents in taking their careers to the next level,” Burleson says. “The recipient of the 2015 Easterwood Cup Broker/Manager of the Year Award presented by the MetroTex Association of Realtors, Kristi offers a long history of distinguished service to our industry and community.”

Davis will report to Betty Misko, executive vice president and director of sales offices.

“Kristi has managed Ebby’s Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office for the past six years and will continue in that capacity,” Misko says. “I am confident her background will serve her well in our Flower Mound/Lewisville Office. She has an innate understanding of how agents learn, grow and prosper.”

A Dallas-Fort Worth native and graduate of the University of North Texas, Davis has been in real estate since 2002. Having been a top-producing agent she understands the life of a Realtor, the ebbs and flows of the industry, and the importance of lead generation.

“I love what I do,” Davis says. “I feel like I never work a day in my life because I am so passionate about real estate. I am blessed to have had the privilege to manage Ebby’s Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office and appreciate the opportunity to also lead our Flower Mound/Lewisville Office.

“The Flower Mound/Lewisville housing market is growing by leaps and bounds,” Davis says. “It shares a lot in common with the Irving market, as far as price point and diversity of offerings. I really look forward to increasing Ebby’s market share in this dynamic area of North Texas.”

An enthusiastic, natural leader who holds a Broker’s License and the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager Designation, Davis says she is dedicated to supporting all of her agents by providing the cutting-edge tools, professional development and one-on-one coaching necessary to help them grow their careers.

Davis has long been active in the North Texas community. She currently chairs the MetroTex Leadership Academy and is a board member of the Irving Healthcare Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time with her nephews.

“I am truly excited about my new position as sales manager of Ebby’s Flower Mound/Lewisville Office,” Davis says. “My door will always be open for our agents – in Flower Mound/Lewisville and in Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell – and our valued clients will reap the benefits.”

Irving Music Factory Under Construction

Irving Music Factory Under Construction

The Irving Music Factory, now under construction near U.S. Highway 114 and Las Colinas Boulevard, will offer live music and a whole lot more.

The anchor to the development is a $40 million state-of-the-art music venue that can be switched from a 4,000-seat indoor theater to an outdoor amphitheater with double that capacity. The Pavilion at The Music Factory will be walking distance from the Irving Convention Center.

The 18-acre pedestrian-friendly Irving Music Factory will also be home to an Alamo Drafthouse, a 100,000-square-foot office park and more than 20 restaurants. The first two restaurants to be announced are Gloria’s, the popular local Latin eatery, and a new-to-the-area sushi restaurant called Kabuki. More restaurants will be announced in the coming weeks.

“The Music Factory will give area residents and tourists alike a brand-new, world-class entertainment center,” says Kristi Davis, sales manager of Ebby’s Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office. “We’re super-excited about the positive impact this exciting new development will have on a part of the metroplex we already love.”

The Irving Music Factory is expected to open in April 2016.

Irving Gets World-Class Entertainment Center

Hear a band at the music hall, swing in for an after-concert drink at one of several pubs; have a few laughs at a comedy club or see the latest blockbuster in a state-of-the art theater; celebrate a special occasion with an upscale meal at a swanky new eatery or just grab a quick slice of pizza for lunch. It will all be possible at The Music Factory, a one-stop-shop for a fun night out on the town and a perfect daytime diversion from office life. The Music Factory is slated to open in Irving in late 2015.

The official groundbreaking for this much-anticipated $165 million project is this Saturday, August 30, at 7 p.m. in the 300 block of West Las Colinas Boulevard near the Irving Convention Center.

“The groundbreaking this weekend marks the kick-off of a project that will give area residents and tourists alike a brand-new, world-class entertainment center,” says Kristi Davis, sales manager of Ebby’s Irving/Las Colinas/Coppell Office. “We’re super-excited about the positive impact this exciting new development will have on a part of the metroplex we already love.”

It’s not just any groundbreaking ceremony either – expect performances from members of Dashboard Confessional and The Apples in Stereo, food trucks, and a free outdoor screening of “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” (The project’s developer is the Ark Group of Charlotte, N.C.)

Located just north of O’Connor between State Highway 114 and Las Colinas Boulevard, The Music Factory will be an all-in-one dining and entertainment destination. The centerpiece of the project is an 8,000-seat, indoor/outdoor concert hall. The project will also feature a 50,000-square-foot plaza with a stage that will play host to fashion shows, farmer’s markets, food festivals and more. In its first phase, the project will offer 250,000 square feet of entertainment retail and restaurant space, including a just announced Alamo Drafthouse movie theater, a comedy club and 20-plus restaurant options.

Let the entertainment begin!
