Fifty Years of Style

Fifty Years of Style

NorthPark Center turns 50 on Wednesday. At a time when many malls are struggling, this Dallas icon is at the top of its game.

NorthPark is among the top dozen malls in the U.S. Its sales are trending at $1.3 billion this year, or almost $1,100 a square foot, according to a recent Dallas Morning News story. That’s more than twice as productive as the average U.S. regional mall.

Known for its artwork, NorthPark has an art director on staff and more than 50 original pieces on display. Landscaping is another major differentiator for NorthPark, which spends two to three times what a typical mall might spend on landscaping.

The finest retail, restaurants and entertainment, world-class art and a one-of-a-kind cultural experience in a truly unique setting – the difference is evident to all who visit this Mid-Century treasure in the heart of Dallas.

Happy Birthday to NorthPark. We’re already looking forward to the next 50 years.
