Wildflower! Guitar Auction Returns

post

Ebby’s Campbell-Coit, Preston Plano Parkway, 190@Jupiter and Preston Keller offices are proud to again be hosts of the Wildflower! Art & Music Festival’s Art Guitar Auction.

The auction features guitars — electric and acoustic — decorated by local artists, celebrities, and sports figures. The guitars are transformed, painted, tiled, airbrushed or gilded in gold – whatever the decorator desires – and are put on display at the Eisemann Center and sold in a silent auction for the duration of the festival. Proceeds benefit the NETWORK of Community Ministries and the fine art programs of the Richardson Independent School District. Click here to learn about how the auction works.

If you haven’t gotten your tickets to this year’s Wildflower! Festival now is the time. The festival takes place this weekend, May 16-18, and features a fantastic line-up that includes Kool and the Gang, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Loverboy, Jack Ingram, Michael Martin Murphey, Marcia Ball and The Wallflowers – among others.

The festival’s three-day pass ($30) is on sale now at any D-FW Tom Thumb store or at WildFlowerFestival.com. The three-day pass is sold until 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 16. Single-day adult tickets will be available at the gate for $20, or through the festival’s website. Kids age 5-12 are $3; and admission for kids 4 and under is free.
