Pamela Young Named SWD/EC Sales Leader

Pamela Young Names SWD/EC Sales Leader

Ebby Halliday Realtors has appointed Pamela Young sales leader of its Southwest Dallas/Ellis County Office. Chris Kelly, president and chief executive officer, recently made the announcement.

“I extend my sincere gratitude to longtime Southwest Dallas/Ellis County Sales Leader Terri Wheeler, who has been with Ebby for 37 years, 25 of those in management,” says Kelly. “Terri will continue to be an important presence in the office she guided and built, and will continue to support agents in a meaningful way going forward.”

Young brings extensive real estate experience, as well as a strong desire to assist Ebby’s Southwest Dallas/Ellis County agents in taking their careers to the next level, Kelly says.

“Pamela has been a very effective leader of our eResource Department,” he says. “She believes Ebby is a place she can grow professionally and she has certainly done that. I am confident her background will benefit our Southwest Dallas/Ellis County Office in many ways.”

Young has been with the Ebby Halliday Companies for 18 years and has considerable experience in leadership positions. She loves the excitement of assisting clients in finding just the right home — and says she has never met a stranger.

“I’m a people person, I love to laugh,” says Young. “Relationships are at the heart of real estate, and I am excited about supporting and serving ourSouthwest Dallas/Ellis County agents. My leadership style is, ‘What can I do to help you?’ I want to help agents with networking and ensure that we all enjoy a collaborative culture.”

Young, who is passionate about recruiting new and experienced agents to the Southwest Dallas/Ellis County Office, says, “I am very much looking forward to growing the Ebby Halliday brand in the southern sector. As a longtime resident of the area, I am quite involved in the community and very appreciative of how it comes together in supportive and collaborative ways.

“Our clients are making one of the largest — if not the largest — purchases of their lifetime so it’s imperative that we get to know them and develop strong working relationships,” Young says. “I want our clients and agents to know that they can rely on me at all times.”

In her spare time, Young enjoys learning, cooking, travelling and spending time with her two adult daughters.

“I am excited about my move to Ebby’s Southwest Dallas/Ellis County Office,” Young adds. “My door will always be open for my agents, and our valued clients will reap the benefits.”

Buying or Selling a Home is Life-Changing

Buying or Selling a Home is Life-Changing

Ebby Halliday, the founder of Ebby Halliday Realtors and an icon in the real estate industry, famously said, “The Constitution of the United States guarantees your right to own the land under your feet, to sell, and to develop it. Whether you want to become an investor, a real estate agent, or a homeowner, real estate is the basis of the American dream.”

Ebby passed away in late 2015 at the age of 104 but that sentiment is still central to our core mission of transforming and elevating the home buying and selling process into the wonderful life-changing experience it can be.

Most of our clients don’t buy and sell homes very often. It’s relatively unknown territory to them. But it’s our native territory, since 1945. We know the landscape. There’s no trail we haven’t been down before. We are here to help you fully experience one of the biggest, most joyful events of your life.

We’re not going to sugarcoat it: Buying or selling a home can be complicated, sometimes very complicated. Fortunately an Ebby Halliday Realtor is here to guide you through the process.

It’s also true that in today’s hyper-competitive North Texas real estate market it’s more important than ever to choose the right agent for your needs. To get started, visit ebby.com.
