Ebby Halliday Realtors recently hosted a grand-opening celebration at its new Southwest Dallas | Ellis Counties office at 905 N. U.S. Highway 67, Suite 100, in Cedar Hill. Attended by local dignitaries, company leadership, the office’s agents and staff members, and other area agents and industry professionals, the event showcased the beautiful new office and its ideal location along the growing Highway 67 corridor.

Dallas-Fort Worth Housing Market Sizzles

 

Wow, it sure did get hot fast this year! Summer has barely unfurled, but the North Texas residential real estate market is already delivering blistering sales in June. In Dallas-Fort Worth, homes are moving off the market 13.6 percent faster than they did at this time last year as prices continue to hit new record highs.

 

The average home sales price in North Texas in May was $286,200, 6.3% higher than one year ago. However, much of the effect of higher prices is being offset by mortgage rates that are the lowest we’ve seen in three years.
