Ebby’s 190 – Richardson, Campbell-Coit, Preston Plano Parkway and Preston Keller offices are giving back to the community as hosts of the Wildflower! Art & Music Festival’s popular Art Guitar Auction.

 

The auction features guitars decorated by local artists, celebrities, and sports figures. The guitars are on display at the Eisemann Center and sold in a silent auction that runs the duration of the festival. Proceeds benefit the NETWORK of Community Ministries and the fine art programs of the Richardson Independent School District.

 

If you haven’t gotten your tickets to this year’s Wildflower! Festival, now is the time. The festival takes place May 19-21, and features a line-up that includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, The B-52s, Night Ranger, The Outlaws, Shooter Jennings, and Martha Davis and The Motels, among others.

 

The festival’s three-day pass ($65) and single-day tickets ($30) are on sale now. Single-day tickets are $40 at the gate.

The festival takes place May 20-22, and features a line-up that includes Peter Frampton, The Guess Who, Dennis DeYoung and the Music of Styx, Survivor, ASIA featuring John Payne, John Waite, John Mayall, and Jimmie Vaughan and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band featuring Lou Ann Barton – among others.

 

The festival’s three-day pass ($40) and single-day tickets ($25) are on sale now at any D-FW Tom Thumb store or ExtremeTix Tickets. The three-day pass is sold until 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 20. Single-day adult tickets are also available at the gate. Kids (ages 12 and under) are $5.

The guitars are transformed, painted, tiled, airbrushed or gilded in gold – whatever the decorator desires – and are put on display at the Eisemann Center and sold in a silent auction for the duration of the festival. Wildflower! Festival Offers Springtime Fun

The Wildflower! Art & Music Festival is still a ways off but with a line-up featuring Kool and the Gang, Cheap Trick, Foghat, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Loverboy, Jack Ingram, Michael Murtin Murphey, Marcia Ball and The Wallflowers – among others – it’s never too early to get your tickets for this must-see springtime event. The award-winning arts and music festival, sponsored in part by Ebby Halliday Realtors, takes place May 16-18 at Galatyn Park in Richardson.

 

This year’s festival features six performance stages, the Wild! Marketplace, the Taste of Texas Food Garden, the family friendly Kidz Korner, and a whole lot more. The Art Guitar Auction of celebrity-donated, decorated guitars will be on display at the nearby Eisemann Center for the duration of the festival.
